Bank Donates House to Habitat
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Middletown will begin rehabilitating the aged Middletown building in spring, 2012. The new owner has already been chosen.
Mary Ellen Rogulski, the Bank's SVP/Senior Lending Officer, giving home keys to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Middletown President, Pauline Beall.

SUNY Orange Foundation, a financial resource partner of Orange County Community College, recognized Orange CountyTrust with its Leadership in Business Award at their sixth annual Leadership Awards.

Orange County Trust has completed the second floor of the Chester Branch. It is now available to non-profit organizations for meetings, seminars and conferences. It is a bright, attractive space with a small kitchen and enclosed stairway access, separate from the Branch area. Stewart Airport Strike Force
Orange County Trust Company has launched an educational effort that emphasizes the value of a major airport in Orange County. The Stewart Airport Strike Force will build awareness of the economic impact of the airport while helping customers and colleagues to identify ways to use it as a resource.
  
Be aware of email scams
Along with eCards containing viruses, phishing, and spear phishing scams claiming to be from the IRS, Better Business Bureau, FedEx, the lottery, police agencies, and many others are showing up in the wild. These scams run year-round. Be aware that the criminal trend is not to target banks directly, but to target the customer base and have the customer compromise their bank, without knowing what is happening.
