In recent weeks, local residents have received through the mail, a sales letter stating they have been pre-selected for a new mortgage. The letter displays the name "Orange Cnty Tr Co" in the upper right hand corner which may lead someone to mistakenly believe the letter is from your local bank, Orange County Trust Company. We wish to inform our customers that this solicitation is not from
Orange County Trust Company.

The company name on the bottom of the letter, in fine print, indicates the offer is from "American Financial Resources". Their statement on the letter "American Financial Resources is not affiliated with your lender" is correct. Orange County Trust Company does not endorse or recommend this company or the mortgage service they claim to provide.
